Yesterdays tournament did not really go to plan. We lost. Again. BUT and that is in capitals bold and underscored and green for a reason...
There is reason to be hopeful. More than one.
we are on a trend. A positive trend.
  1. ​we had 7 players and 1 reserve. For the whole tournament. That was a first.
  2. We had discussed tactics (real tactics) before the games.
  3. We won a game. It was 7 against 5 but nevertheless we won it convincingly ;-)
  4. We put up a decent fight in all games even in those we lost. A bit more luck and it could have been us.
  5. Despite the loss we seemed better as a team, more a team than some individuals. That also holds tru for after the games.
So I am looking forward to the next tournament and one day....one not so distant day we will prevail and win our first round.

For Tea and Glory...currently mostly for Tea and there is nothing wrong in this.

Please forgive me if you are not excited by what I write but that is not the point.

Blogs are mainly for the blogger. Not for the audience. Self-indulgence is a prerequisite and bathing in his own perceived glory of contributing text bites the world has been waiting for is the fuel that drives a blogger.
And getting famous. And rich. Mostly rich.

So look forward to hours of fun and joy to read insignificant in-sights into the world of a crazy Swiss playing hours on a tablet shooting other crazy people in pixels shaped as tanks.
